By 2006, Sea-Doo had completely revamped its entry-level GTI family. The platform of the new GTI lineup was redesigned from scratch and housed a 4-stroke Rotax engine.The 2006 Sea-Doo GTI lineup included four models, the base GTI 130, the GTI Rental 130, and the GTI SE 130. In 2007, this family was expanded with the more advanced GTI SE 155.
The new model came standard with a speedometer, dual mirrors, reboarding step, premium footwell mats, water temperature sensor, ski tow eye, custom seat, and a more powerful 155 HP engine option.

‘07-’10 Sea-Doo GTI SE 155 Hull and Deck
Like its smaller siblings, the GTI SE 155 was built on an entirely-new Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) composite platform measuring 127 inches in length, 49 inches in width, and 45.9 inches in height.
The dry weight of the GTI SE 155 was 747 pounds. In contrast, the dry weight of the 2-stroke GTI models varied between 623 and 700 pounds depending on the model.
The new 4-stroke GTI SE 155 was not only bigger and heavier but it also returned with greater capacities.
It could carry three riders and plenty of gear with ease. Its load capacity was 602 pounds, 66 pounds more than the capacity of the 2-stroke GTI line.
Its revamped deck featured a 15.9-gallon fuel tank, standard bow storage, and a roomy glovebox. The total storage capacity of the ski was 12.4 gallons.

This tame ski had a reputation for great maneuverability, a predictable attitude, and good reliability.
