What’s New in the 2025 Lineup?
The latest Sea-Doo PWC lineup has arrived with some minor changes, the most important of which are the following:
- GTX Limited engine upgrade (from 300 to 325hp)
- New PWC model: Fish Pro Apex
- New Boat: Switch Fish
- New color schemes
- Higher price tags
Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty and talk about these changes in detail!
2025 Sea-Doo PWC Lineup
Sea-Doo Spark Line
Since Sea-Doo completely redesigned its Spark series for the 2024 model year, these Rec-Lite PWCs remained almost unchanged for the 2025 season.
The only noticeable upgrades on the 2025 Sparks are the “boldly new color schemes” and the slightly higher price tags on the Trixx line.
The entry-level Spark is still offered for $6,999 with a 2-person seat and the 60hp engine option.
Its more advanced variant produces 90hp and can be opted with either a 2- or 3-person saddle. These skis are marketed for $8,399 and $8,299, respectively.
To the greatest delight of a lot of fans, prices in this breed have remained unchanged.
The TRIXX series was also carried over from last year without any mechanical upgrades. The one-seater model is available for $9,199 while the 3-seater sells for $9,799.
Models and prices:
- Spark 60 for 2: $6,999
- Spark 90 for 3: $8,299
- Spark 90 for 2: $8,399
- Spark Trixx for 1: $9,199
- Spark Trixx for 3: $9,799
Sea-Doo GTI Line
Just like its Rec-Lite siblings, mid-sized Sea-Doo GTIs have also remained unchanged for 2025.
The White & Mint color scheme of the base GTI 130 was carried over while the more advanced GTI SE can also be ordered with the new Midnight Purple dress.
The SE variant can be opted for with either 130 or 170 hp engine options.
Models and prices:
- GTI 130: $11,699
- GTI SE 130: $12,499
- GTI SE 170: $13,099
Sea-Doo GTR Line
The exciting high-performance GTR line shares its hull with the mid-size GTI series but enjoys the more powerful, supercharged engines.
As their name suggests, the engines of the GTR 230 and GTX-X 300 are rated at 230 and 300hp, respectively.
Their Black & Blue and Black & Red color schemes have remained unchanged from 2024.
Models and prices:
- GTR 230: $14,299
- GTR-X 300: $17,299
Sea-Doo GTX Line
The biggest price increase can be seen in the deservedly popular GTX series, but with good reason.
Marketed as the most luxurious Sea-Doo, the 2025 GTX Limited 325 returned with the most powerful Sea-Doo engine available.
Released in 2024, the performance of this Rotax 1630 ACE has been increased from 300 to 325hp.
Other standard features of the ski include a giant touchscreen dashboard, hydraulically-damped steering, premium audio system, LinQ cleats, and more.
What’s more, according to The WaterCraftJournal, the GTX Limited is the only 325hp model available with the innovative iDF debris-removal system.
Unfortunately, the price of this flagship Sea-Doo was increased to a whopping $2300.
Models and prices:
- GTX 170: $15,399
- GTX 230: $16,399
- GTX 300: $18,099
- GTX Limited 325: $21,999
RXP-X and RXT-X 325
Unlike the luxurious GTX Limited, the race-inspired RXT-X 325 and RXP-X 325 were hardly changed for the new season.
Their Red & White dress was replaced with the iconic Metallic Tan and Lava Red color scheme. Interestingly, they inherited this color combination from their vintage 2-stroke predecessors, like the ‘98-‘99 GSX Limited.
Just like last year, the Ice & Green color option is still available on these skis.
Models and prices:
- RXP-X 325: $19,499
- RXT-X 325: $20,599
Fish and Explorer Pro
Jet ski fishing is gaining in popularity, and Sea-Doo isn’t hesitating to release more and more purpose-built fishing PWCs.
The history of these machines goes back to 2019 when the first Sea-Doo Fish Pro hit showrooms. Later this model was rebranded as the Fish Pro Trophy 170.
Over the years, this line has expanded with some new models, including the GTI-based Fish Pro Scout 130 and the Fish Pro Sport 170.
These three skis are not only still part of the 2025 Fish Pro model line, but they are also completed with the top-of-the-line Fish Pro Apex.
Introduced as the most expensive Sea-Doo in 2025, it comes with a plethora of bells and whistles and a 300hp supercharged engine.
Just like its close relatives including the RXT-X 325, Explorer Pro, and GTX Limited 325, the Fish Pro Apex is built on the super-stable ST3 hull and enjoys the hydraulically-damped steering system.
The rest of the Fish series and the Explorers (including the Explorer Pro 170 and 230) remain technically unchanged from last year.
Models and prices:
- Fish Pro Scout 130: $15,299
- Fish Pro Sport 170: $17,599
- Fish Pro Trophy 170: $20.699
- Fish Pro Apex: $24,499
- Explorer Pro 170: $19,399
- Explorer Pro 230: $20,399
Wake
Last but not least, we have to mention Sea-Doo’s Wake series, which is still part of the lineup.
These models are designed and equipped with wakeboarding and other watersports in mind.
The 2025 Wake Pro 230 is built on the stable ST3-hull and utilizes a 230hp supercharged engine.
In contrast, its smaller brother, the Wake 170 is built on the tiny GTI platform, which houses a 170hp naturally-aspirated engine option.
Unlike these technical details and features, the prices of these skis have been enhanced by $200:
Models and prices:
- Wake 170: $14,299
- Wake Pro 230: $18,599

Conclusion
Let’s face it, the two noteworthy changes in the new Sea-Doo lineup are the introduction of the brand new Fish Pro Apex and the engine upgrade of the GTX Limited 325.
Aside from these differences and some new color patterns, the rest of the lineup has remained fairly untouched.
In terms of price, they start at $6,999 and go up to a whopping $24,999.
As reported by Joshua Dowling at WaterCraft Zone, dealers face high inventory levels, which indicates a good bargaining position for buyers. (In return, the interest rates are also quite high.)
