Yamaha EX Limited Review
The Yamaha EX family was revealed in 2017 to compete with the unique Sea-Doo Spark series in the Rec-Lite PWC category. The youngest member of this line is the Yamaha EX Limited, which made its debut in 2021.
With this new model, the 2022 Yamaha EX WaveRunner series consists of four different skis including:
- Yamaha EX – MSRP: $7,199
- Yamaha EX Sport – MSRP: $8,299
- Yamaha EX Deluxe – MSRP: $9,299
- Yamaha EX Limited – MSRP: $9,899
(You can discover these models by following the links above.)
Each of these skis shares the same hull and engine, but the EX Limited stands out in the crowd, as this model comes with many useful features and accessories.
The key feature of the EX Limited is arguably its RiDE brake and reverse system, which can be controlled directly from the handlebars. What’s more, the system also makes the ski easy to maneuver around docks and in tight places.
Besides the RiDE, the EX Limited is also equipped with dual mirrors, a reboarding step, pull-up-cleats, branded fenders, matching cover, portable jet ski speakers, and a larger waterproof front storage bag.
Also, the EX Limited comes with a standard “tow package” including a tube, a 12V tube inflator, and a tow rope. Another innovative feature on this ski is its advanced sponsons, which make the hull more stable if you ride with a passenger.
Except for this equipment and the colors, the Yamaha EX Limited is identical to the basic Yamaha EX. If you are not familiar with the this base model, we highly recommend that you start with this review here!
